I was warned about the headaches as side effecyts which would disappear with pain
The headaches have been far to severe to endure and I'm no wimp!!
Anyone else encounter these.

Absolutely :( my cardiologist told me to split it because i refused that type of pain..now..day 2 my headaches are mild. I take ibuprofen 800 at 8 o'clock then I take isosorbide 15mg at 9pm then wake up at 330am for another 800mg of ibuprofen. Upon Awakening at 7 I take another 800 and then go back to sleep until 8 a.m. so then when I wake up I can take the other 10 heart pills I have to take.. So far this is working for me but what I want to know is how long does it take before your body adjust and we don't have the headache side effects

Severe Headaches with Imdur - Yes, I am still experiencing severe Headaches from Imdur. They are supposed to lessen the longer you are on this medication,
but they do not. My headaches today are just as severe as they were the first
day I began taking this drug - and I am still having angina. So, for me, this medication is definitely not working.

I had the headaches and I am nauseated with this pill. Tylenol was no help at all and it made me vomit.. I am taking motrin now, because it doesn't make me vomit. I am on my third day of extended release. Have any of you found that the pain eventually goes away?

They don't disappear for everyone and, for some people, they do tend to be very severe.

Have you tried anything for the headaches?

Learn more Isosorbide information here.

Have you gotten any advice from your doctor on what you can do for the headaches?
