Is comneslone 20 actually prednisone ## Hi Boa, Unfortunately there are no drugs or medications that match the name "comneslone", so I was unable to get any results searching for it. Is this something you ordered from overseas? I saw another thread on here a while back, where someone ordered prednisone, but was actually sent something called comneslone instead. However like I said, it doesn't appear to be a real drug name. So unless it's an uncommon medication from a foreign country, I see no other reason why it wouldn't turn up in any search engines. Hi, my teenage daughter has been taking 40mgs for a little over a month. The doctor is now tapering her off. We are currently at 25. In the process she has had pseudoseizures and passing out. Could this be caused from the prednisone??? She has had every diagnostic done so it's not epilepsy. She suffers from GI problems. She had a colonoscopy done in dec and had inflammation in her colon. I was given 84(20mg) tablets of prednisone for an allergic reaction to a blood pressure pill. After the second dose of 16 tablets i lost control of my bladder and have had multiple side effects to include osteoporosi,gerd,double vision,memory loss,lymphedema,stent surgery of the abdomen,nasopharyngeal surgery,ulcers of the lower legs, unstable use of my legs,loss of vision,etc. I am now a 49 yr old woman and this 10 day supply of prednisone has wrecked havoc on my life and also has affected my whole family! My husband has to care for myself and our 2 children. I just started a 10 day round of 10 mg of Prednisone 2x a day and I usually take either a Soma or an Alprazolam to help me sleep. Can I still take one of the meds to help me sleep? ## Hello Karen, Unfortunately if the doctor has not instructed you to continue taking the medication I would advise against it. Prescription medication should only be taken as the doctor has instructed. What I can tell you is that from what I read on the NIH drug interaction site predisone and soma do not have any listed interactions. Again I advise that you keep your doctor informed of all the medication that you will be taking and not to take chances with your health. I hope this information helps.

You should check in with your prescriber, to be sure, but in most cases, you would just continue taking it as prescribed. The FDA classifies the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight gain, acne and insomnia. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My Prednisone dosage was taken twice in one day instead of once. Experienced COPD Flare, started 40mg with taper, Subsequent hospitalization when symptoms (Respiratory) became dire 2 days later. Then IV Steroid for 5 days in hospitalization, then two 40mg does with Levaquin after hospitaization, then off. Suffered another COPD Flare 5 weeks after hospitalization, again 40mg with taper. Severe side effects, including Steroid Psychosis/Mania. Diagnosed with Mania 11/01/14 Been prescribed very gradual increase of Lamotrigine. Now at 200mg, still not at recommended therapeutic dose, as of 2/14/14. See my Psychiatrist on Monday, 2/16/15. But would appreciate your input if seen. For over a month now I've have noticed dark spots on my gums and lips. They weren't there before. I want to know if the hcqs, lefumide or steroids (prednisone) have ever had any side effects like that? I have been taking these meds since 2014. Also, could too much exposure to sunlight whilst on the meds affect one's lips?

I am assuming it is Dan Dan 5443 because the other characteristics you list match. This is an anti-imflammatory, steroidal medication called Prednisone. It is used to reduce the imflammation in the joints, lungs, heart and many other types of imflammation. round peach pill one side v other side scored 50/92 ## Are you sure it doesn't say 50 93 or 50 94 instead of 50 92? If it does say v 50 92 then it is probably an older version of 20mg prednisone. This is a steroidal anti-imflammatory medication, used especially for joint imflammation and lung imflammation, among others. Side effects include ravenous hunger, insomnia, stomach pain, among others. The other possibility is that it says b 50 92. This would be naltroxone. I am taking This medication for a sore inflammation area in my chest that I have seen a physical therapist for. He told me to work out to stretch the chest but to do push ups and everything still. My other doctor gave me the steroid pill to get rid of this inflammation. With this medication are you supposed to rest it or use the muscle more? I still have inflammation in that spot. This is Day 2 of the pill so after todayI have three more days of this medication. What do you think or recommend. my right breast is painful at night and its full yet i dont have a baby nor in my periods, i went to a Dr who said its a sollen tissues and gave me Trolic 5mg, did he gave me the right madication or i should consult/seek second opinion? ## Trolic contains Prednisone, which can be used to alleviate swelling, such as you've described. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, dizziness, weight changes, mood changes, and fluid retention. Have you tried taking it, yet? I have to start this in the morning, is this a lot at once I have to do this 2x a day for a bad cough. ( I have had it for 3 weeks) Also should I take a lower mg closer to time to get off it or what. I'm scarf to take this I took it before and it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest and had night sweats. Any one take this much a day? ## Hi Angie, I don't know if your cough is related to Asthma in any way, but for someone who is 12 years old and up, the dose for asthma is 40 mg orally every 12 hours. That being said, I don't think it is unsafe to be taking this much, however if it has made you feel ill in the past you may want to find an alternative. I took double dose of prednisone 60mg in one day 9 hours apart for sinus infection. Should I be worried? ## I was given a 24 hr prednisone shot yesterday to help with my tight chest and coughing. They prescribed 60 mg for 3 days as I had been taking 40mg 2 days prior. I would like to split the dosage so I don't cough at night. I am also taking albuterol in a nebulizer every 4 hrs as the inhaler was not working as good as the treatments in the doctor's office. Can I split the dosage to 30mg twice daily so I can get relief from coughing while trying to get some sleep? I attend a methadone clinic and twice in a row now I have tested positive for opiates when I haven't done any. I've taken some prescription drugs and through some research I've concluded that it was the prednisone that caused it. The good thing is my counselor is going to advocate for me to get my urine retested for free instead of having to pay the $45. So hopefully this may help someone because they also found false positives for other drugs from ppl taking prednisone. ## How can I prove this to my counselor? I am on vacation in Mexico. I have an awful wet cough and asthma symptoms. I have had this before and been medicated with Antibiotics, 5 mg prednisone and mucinex and albuterol. I started Zithromax and mucinex for 3 days the added 1 tab of prednisone 5mg. A couple hours later I had an allergic reaction. Breathing worse itchy eyes then hands then feet. 25 mg of benedryl stopped it. I have been using albuterol. Now I am afraid to take anything and go to a doc here.
